T-Tips
T-tip are un-plated copper tips designed for customer’s that require custom shaping of the working surface not possible with a plated tips. These are available in plug and screw style to fit a wide variety of Irons.
J-Tips
J-tip are made to fit on our Therm-o-Trac family of stations. They are designed to fit over the heating element and sensor for fast heat up and are internally plated to prevent freezing. These are copper tips plated with Iron and Nickel/Chrome for durability, corrosion resistance, and to prevent solder creep. Tips come pre-tinned with 100% tin to allow for immediate use or storage.
CT-Tips
CT-Tips are made to fit both in the HTC family of stations and the Phenix family of Irons. They are designed to fit over the heating element for fast heat up and are internally plated to prevent freezing. These are copper tips plated with Iron and Nickel/Chrome for durability, corrosion resistance, and to prevent solder creep. Tips come pre-tinned with 100% tin to allow for immediate use or storage.
Custom Tips
Hexacon manufactures and plates tips in house. This allows us to offer custom tip services to our customers. We are happy to provide consultation on engineering, application, and manufacturing of tips that may not be available from stock. Minimum order requirements may apply.
